Meet the Team Behind Every Little Thing
Trusted Wedding & Event Planners in Ontario
Helping couples turn meaningful moments into beautifully orchestrated celebrations.

Oh Hey! I'm Aly
From a young age, I always knew I wanted to help people ... I just wasn’t sure what that would look like.
My journey into the wedding world began in the ’90s when I made my flower girl debut.
Something about that experience stayed with me. I was instantly drawn to the beauty, emotion,
and energy of weddings, a fascination that eventually led me to selling wedding dresses in high school.
I loved helping people find the gown that made them feel like themselves on one of
the most meaningful days of their lives.
From there, my curiosity about the industry only grew.
I gained experience in alterations, attended countless wedding shows, and eventually enrolled in the
Special Events Planning program at George Brown College. During those two years, I volunteered at
a wide variety of events across the city, but no matter where I went, I always found myself drawn back
to the magic of weddings.
To deepen my expertise, I earned my WPIC certification and later completed a specialization in
Destination Wedding Planning, allowing me to support couples whether they’re celebrating close to
home or across the world. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to experience the events industry
from many angles-- working as a venue coordinator, a full-time wedding planner, and producing
everything from beer festivals and concerts to large-scale summer events. I even had the incredible opportunity to intern
at New York Fashion Week, an experience that deepened my appreciation for design, detail, and thoughtful production.
But no matter what role I stepped into, weddings always felt like home.
As I grew into my roles as a wife to Kyle, and mother to Marley and Noah, I felt an even stronger pull to create something of my own — something rooted in care, intention, and meaningful celebration. That’s how Every Little Thing was born!
Kyle and I often sing the phrase “Every little thing is gonna be alright” to our children, and over time it became more than just a song in our house.
It became a reminder that even in the most emotional, fast-moving moments, everything has a way of coming together.
That belief sits at the heart of Every Little Thing, because when the right plan, the right people, and the right care are in place… every little thing really will be alright.

Hey!
I’m the girl who will cry at your first look, cheer the loudest when you walk back down the aisle, and probably have a Diet Coke in hand while doing it.
Growing up playing softball made me a lifelong, die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fan, so being part of a team has always felt natural to me. I learned early that the best moments happen when everyone shows up for each other. On your wedding day, I’m on your team, fully and completely. Your vision becomes my priority, and your experience becomes my responsibility.
My love for weddings began in 2023 at Elora Mill Hotel & Spa. I started as an Events server in the Granary Building and instantly fell in love with the energy and behind-the-scenes magic that brings months (sometimes years) of planning to life in one unforgettable day. I later stepped into a Wedding Concierge role, where I ensured every detail was in place. I learned to anticipate needs before they’re spoken, pivot gracefully, and protect the calm so you can stay present. Yes, that included sprints across the Elora Bridge and hikes down to the Gorge, all to preserve the magic.
There’s nothing more special to me than the first time you see each other. Whether it’s an intimate first look or that breathtaking pause at the end of the aisle, I still tear up every time. After the ceremony? Handing you a glass of bubbly, fixing your veil, straightening a boutonniere, and hyping you up as you make your first exit as newlyweds is my favourite part. That just-married glow never gets old.
Beyond logistics, what matters most is how you feel, calm, confident, and cared for. I want you to remember the laughter, the happy tears, and the way your hands felt when they first locked together, not the stress.
Outside of weddings, I’m a proud dog “sibling” to four sweet pups (yes, you’ll absolutely see photos), and I live for my afternoon “fun” drink, Alani Nu, Diet Coke, or Root Beer always in hand. I believe in celebrating the little joys just as much as the big milestones.
I’ll handle the details.
You soak in the magic.

Emily is an absolute delight to work with! She is warm, kind, attentive, and calm.
She is exactly the person you want by your side for life's big moments!

Meet Caely
Caely Penner | Lead Coordinator
Hi, I’m Caely!
I’m someone who loves a good timeline, thoughtful details, iced-coffee fueled planning, and making sure couples feel supported and validated every step of the way.
My path into weddings began at Fanshawe College, where I studied Special Events Planning and discovered just how much I loved bringing meaningful celebrations to life. Although this was one of my first official steps into the world of weddings and events, I knew since I was about 13 years old that I wanted to work in the weddings industry. (cue years of watching Say Yes to the Dress every day after school).
In 2021, I stepped into the industry at Elora Mill Hotel & Spa as a Ceremony Specialist and Wedding Concierge. Being part of those first looks, ceremony lineups, and the quiet moments before couples walk down the aisle quickly made me fall in love with the energy of a wedding day and the privilege of being part of such a meaningful time in each couple’s life.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work behind the scenes at hundreds of weddings across different venues and roles. Each one has taught me something new about anticipating needs before they arise, keeping timelines running smoothly, and staying calm when the day gets busy. In 2024, I earned my certification through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada, further strengthening my passion for thoughtful planning and seamless execution.
For me, weddings are all about meaningful moments, thoughtful details, and creating space for couples to truly enjoy the day they’ve been dreaming about. Behind the scenes, I’m focused on timelines, logistics, refilling your glass, and making sure every detail comes together just as planned. My goal is to bring a calm, supportive presence so you can stay present and celebrate with the people who matter most.
When I’m not celebrating or planning with you, you’ll usually find me at home with my four cats or wandering through Homesense with Starbucks in hand.
I can’t wait to celebrate with you and help bring your wedding vision to life!

The Wedding Planner is definitely one of my favorites, and has been since I was a kid. Between that and 'Say Yes To The Dress', I've always loved the behind-the scenes of how weddings come together.
Fav Meal To Eat After A Wedding
My go-to is easily 2 McDoubles and a Jr. Chicken from McDonalds, with a side of Habanero sauce of course!
Fav Artist To Listen To Get Hyped Up Before Seeing The Couple On The Wedding Day
Hozier is one of my Favourites right now, but 'Rom-Com' soundtracks are also so fun before a wedding day!
